Une association d'action, SLCOA Inc a pour mission de protéger la qualité de l'eau de Skiff Lake en faisant la promotion d'initiatives Healthy Lake qui protègent l'eau du lac maintenant et pour les héritages futurs tout en assurer sécurité pour que tous puissent en profiter.
The Skiff Lake Cottage Owners Association Inc. is made up of volunteers who oversee and maintain stewardship of the lake and it's residents.

Transport Canada’s Office of Boating Safety is responsible for overseeing regulations, standards and policies, enforcement and technical services for recreational vessels. It encourages safe boating practices and compliance with regulations.
